Alexander Thomas

Alex is primarily a narrative director. Highly acclaimed, he was won a slew of awards, starting with his first film, a documentary short called Portobello: Attack of the Clones.

Following on from this success, Alex’s graduation film from the University of Westminster, Entropy, won awards including Best Script and Best Performances at the National Student Film Festival.

In 2013 his short film, The Undream, premiered at the East End Film Festival where it won the Audience Award for Best Short Film before picking up further awards and nominations at festivals around the world.

More recently, Alexander wrote and directed Beverley, his most ambitious short film project to date. Set in Leicester in 1980 and featuring Vicky McClure, it has won over 20 awards and screened at over 70 international film festivals.
